We are very pleased to announce that our website will be relaunched within the next couple of months. The function and scope of the NCCDP has recently been expanded to include a wide range of young people's public health issues. This will also result in a name change for our research group. We will still maintain our expertise on substance misuse, but our research will now include other areas of risky behaviour and our new website will reflect this. Furthermore, it will be completely reprogrammed to make it easier to use, and in a major development its new focus will be on making the evidence base and examples of good practice more easily available to users, particularly in reference to key government policy. We will offer a powerful search function that will allow visitors to search for guidance and evidence on particular problems, interventions and issues. We will also be providing a better navigation interface so that reports and news stories can be easily found and viewed. Our information service will also be expanded to include a wider range of young people's health issues.
Finally, please look out for details of an exciting international young people and drugs conference that will be held in Liverpool in November of this year.
